A celebration of the finest performances and appearances by the New Romantic sensations on the BBC. They came out of Birmingham in the early 80s, took over the world, and helped define the look and sound of an entire decade. Although pioneers of the pop video age, this collection of hits and rarities – from Planet Earth to Ordinary World and beyond – captures the impact and excitement of their music on a huge selection of BBC shows, from the Old Grey Whistle Test to Wogan and, of course, Top of the Pops.

Music legends Duran Duran brought BBC Music Day to a close with a concert live from Cornwall's Eden Project, which also featured performances from the fantastic Laura Mvula and up-coming singer Izzy Bizu.

This is a 60 minute independent critical review of Duran Duran on record, on film and in concert with commentary by Graham McTavish. The video draws on rare live film from the archives, and chronicles the band from the early days in the 1980s. The film features interviews with Mark Tinley and former co-manager Paul Berrow, the man who first signed the band to EMI. There are also interviews with a leading team of critics and musicologists to provide a penetrating insight into the music of Duran Duran, with live footage from The Sing Blue Silver Tour, plus TV & radio archives. The DVD contains only small video clips of Duran Duran.

A bootleg with songs recorded on MTV show on 17th November 1993, aired 2005 on VH1: Hungry like The Wolf, Ordinary World, Serious, Girls On Film, Rio, Planet Earth, Come Undone, Too Much Information.

This is a recording of Duran Duran's performance for the SkyArts Songbook, a TV programme broadcast in two parts. The show was an intimate live event, that showcased the band's musical catalogue and included a rare live performance of "Late Bar". There were only 150 tickets available for the event. The tickets could not be bought, and were be only obtained by winning them through DuranDuranMusic.com. As the performance was for TV there were strictly no cameras allowed and the audience were placed in front and back of Duran Duran on stage. This allowed the band to communicate with the audience on a personal level, with Roger Taylor turning this back on many occasions asking if everything is fine and if there were any wishes for songs to play. John Taylor also commented how intimate the show was.

In 1984, Duran Duran toured Canada and America. It was their first major tour as headliners in these two countries. Over 79 days, they travelled approximately 18,000 miles and played 51 shows in 43 cities to over 550,000 fans. The entire tour was filmed for this behind the scenes documentary which offers some fascinating and intriguing glimpses into the fun, glamour, agony, ecstasy and ultimate glory of three months on the road. The band is shown thriving on the pressures, psyching themselves up pre-stage and then delivering their all to a thunderous response. The production manager, tour manager, road crew are frequently caught fraught with last minute panics and touring nerves. Hoards of hysterical fans are seen chasing down and beating on the band's limo and with a camera placed inside the car it gives the viewer an insight into how loud and sinister that must have been. And in between all of this comes the great music.
